Former Asante Kotoko center-back, Abeiku Ainooson has revealed how it will difficult for the porcupines to beat Al Hilal from Sudan in their CAF Champions League clash.
After playing for Asante Kotoko, Abeiku Ainooson signed for the Sudanese side on loan in 216 and played for a season turning fans favorite during his stint.
Speaking to Sekondi-Takoradi’s Spice 91.9 FM ahead of today’s clash, Abeiku Ainooson said:
“I played for Asante Kotoko so I want them to win, but it won’t be easy for them if I’m, to be honest. I talk to some of their players(Al Hilal) on a daily and you could tell they are determined.”
“The Sudanese national team is based on the two most glorious clubs in the country which is Al Merrikh and Al Hilal, so Kotoko’s opponent today is mostly national team players with strong characters.”
The current Sekondi Hasaacas captain advised Kotoko to take their chances and be purposeful in front of goal to win convincingly if they are to progress to the next stage.
