Hearts Of Oak Made Me Broke -CAF Confederation Cup Winner Acquah Harrison.

Former Hearts Oak defender Acquaah Harrison says he is still poor after retirement due to how he was treated at the club.

The current Eleven Wise deputy coach played an instrumental role when the Phobians defeated rivals Asante Kotoko to win the maiden edition on the CAF Confederation Cup.

The defender in an exclusive interview with Angel FM blamed Hearts Of Oak for not fulfilling their part of financial obligations which has led to his poor state.

“If I tell you I am broke, you won’t believe it. I signed two years contract with Hearts of Oak worth ten million old cedis (now 1000 cedis) but I only got six million (now 600 cedis) out of it.”

“Clubs won’t give players the money they deserve but will rather use it on something different.”
