I Will Never Play For Kotoko- New Hearts Of Oak Striker Abednego Tetteh Reveals.

Hearts of Oak new capture, Abednego Tetteh has revealed he will never wear the Kotoko colors due to the love and respect he has for his boyhood club Hearts Of Oak.

The former Bechem United striker stated he refused numerous offers from the Kumasi based club before joining Hearts of Oak in the just-ended transfer window.

“I can wear any club’s jersey to play against Hearts but not that of Kotoko. It’s the reason I didn’t consent to the move to Kotoko,” he said.

“I moved to Ethiopia from Al Hilal to play for Jimma AbaJaffaa but upon my arrival, I was not happy with the terms given me. What I was told before was different from what I went to see.”

“While I was preparing to move away from the club, I had calls from Kotoko that they need me badly. But my family is a Hearts of Oak family and I can’t play for Kotoko, ”

Tetteh completed a two-year deal with the Phobians and will be hoping to help the club win it first major title in ten years.
