4 GFA officials ready for CAF assignment this weekend

The Confederation Of African has assigned 4 Ghanaian football official to play a role in their competitions and other events this weekend.

This is a good news for a country which previously was tagged as one of the most corrupt countries when it comes to football due to the Anas exposé that halted official football activities in the country.

The 4 officials who have been assigned by CAF are Mr. Mark Addo, CEO of Asante Kotoko and GFA executive council member Mr George Amoako, club licensing manager Mr. Emmanuel Dasoberi and western regional football association general secretary Mr. Julius Ben Emunah.

Mr. Mark Addo has been appointed as the General Coordinator for the CAF Confederation Cup match between Enugu Rangers and Al Masry scheduled for Sunday February 2, 2020 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

The club licensing manager Mr. Emmanuel Dasoberi will be attending a CAF Stadium inspection workshop on Saturday February 1 at the Royal Moroccan Football Federation National Technical Center in Rabat.

CEO of Asante Kotoko and GFA executive council member Mr. George Amoako will be representing the Ghana Football Association at a Seminar on the Development of Infrastructure in Africa which will be attended by FIFA president Infantino and Officials from all African Federations on Sunday 2nd February 2020 in Morocco.

Western regional FA general secretary Mr. Julius Ben Emunah will be serving as the security officer for the Confederation Cup game between San Pedro and Enyimba in Cote D’Ivoire on Sunday February 2, 2020.
